But since ruffles were all over the spring runways and, well, because I tend to succumb to peer pressure, I might have to make an exception, however, for this 3.1 Phillip Lim tiered pencil skirt. The ruffles are subtle, and the slim pencil shape is streamlined, so your figure won't be overwhelmed by volume and fluff. Plus, it's double-knit, so it will be flexible and comfortable. The only downside is the price--nearly $400--which is a bit on the high side, all things considered. But while I'm sure this skirt is going to get knocked off left and right, I don't think anyone will do it nearly as well as Phillip Lim. I will wear it with ankle boots and studded jewelry--just so no one gets the wrong idea.
