Get the look: printed maxi dress & platform sandals

I am a huge fan of maxi dresses (then again, who isn't?), so I was excited to see that this street-style look was the most-pinned last week on my Outfit Ideas for Ageless Style Pinterest board. While the colors are almost autumnal, I've been seeing a lot of small-scale red prints trending lately, so it all makes sense. Plus, a long-sleeved maxi is a great spring transitional piece. Let's break it down.

The dress is obviously the star of this outfit, and, not surprisingly, one like hers is hard to find. While the shape of this Forever 21 maxi dress is a little more boho, with a neck tie and flounced hem, the print and feel are similar. Plus, it's on sale for $19, so it's pretty much a no-brainer.  (Apologies for the poor image quality—step up your game, Forever 21!)

I have a feeling the woman in the photograph is wearing either Prada or Miu Miu, but these Barneys New York suede platform sandals are a great substitute, and at the time I'm writing this, they're an extra 60% off (!!!). That said, these look totally comfy and walkable, and I love their '70s vibe.

That appears to be a Fendi clutch in the photo, and while I couldn't find her exact bag, this season's Fendi logo clutch is still fun, albeit $900 worth of fun. This Clare V clutch is not exactly a bargain either, but I love the color and the bold lettering.

It's hard to see her sunglasses, but they look round and retro to me, so these Vince Camuto oversized round sunglasses should do the trick for a mere $25. If you feel like a splurge, however, these Gucci glitter sunglasses are just the right amount of quirky.
