Get the look: slip dress and oversized blazer

While I haven't necessarily been pinning a lot of athleisure, I take comfort from the fact that this month's most-repinned look from my Outfit ideas for ageless style Pinterest board is somewhat dressy. It gives me hope that one day we will stop wearing sweatpants and we will put on nice things again. That said, there's a certain ease to this look—you would not be uncomfortable in it. So let's put it all together, and maybe you can event try something like this at home.

A good black blazer is one of the best investments you can make. This one is a bit oversized, but I own it in gray and can vouch for how absolutely perfect it is—with everything from jeans to slip dresses.

Speaking of slip dresses, this one has a soft, pretty champagne color and a flattering midi length; I'd venture that wearing it pretty much feels like a nightgown—not a bad thing at all.
And Other Stories midi slip dress $119

There are a lot of tricked-out ballet flats out there, but these are simple and classic, no bells and whistles. They are also incredibly reasonable (and real suede).
LOFT suede ballet flats $64.99

This bag totally stumped me—I could neither figure out the original nor find one that looked exactly like it, but this one is close enough. It would totally work with this look, and I think it's just cute anyway.

I really love the slip dress trend right now, especially layered with a blazer! I don't own any nude coloured dresses, I need this one! xo
