What to wear with a cozy cardigan + Thursday Moda linkup

It seems like everyone else in the country is going through the same thing: the weather is glorious and warm one day, bone-chillingly cold and dreary the next. I am so tired of my winter clothes, however, that I recently went on a major spring shopping binge and I'm too impatient to wait for the weather to warm up! So I've teamed up with one of my favorite bloggers to show you how we're wearing spring textures now—even if the weather isn't cooperating.

You know how you get a bunch of birthday discount emails from all your favorite stores? I am pretty much powerless to resist them, hence my recent shopping binge. I bought this incredibly cozy cardigan from Madewell and I love it so much, I wish I had bought it earlier in the season. It is really soft and warm, and for this outfit, I even wore it in place of a coat. I'm wearing the millennial pink version, but it comes in a bunch of different colors, many of which I am tempted to get!

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I have a lacy white top addiction, and I am not kidding. I ordered this one at the same time from Zara, thinking I'd keep one or the other, but nope, I kept both! This one is more cropped and boxy, so it's perfect for wearing with higher-waisted bottoms. The other one is longer and more sheer. See, they're totally different!

I know what you're thinking: mom jeans again? What can I say, these Levi's 505c jeans (last seen here) are my favorites right now, and I really like wearing them with a big ol' logo belt. I am also still trying to lose the last couple pounds I gained on my vacation last month, and the fact that they're non-stretchy helps keep me in line.

Of course, the quickest way to spring-ify your look is with accessories. I think round jute bags like this one from Zara are going to be this year's Cult Gaia bags (although I love my Cult Gaia too and will continue to carry it). They've been all over my Instagram feed! This one is under $50, and I love that it has both a handle and shoulder strap. The tassel is really cute too. Speaking of tassels, these mules are one of my springtime faves; they're from last year and sadly sold out in this color, but I've linked the black version below, as well as this year's sneaker version.

OUTFIT DETAILS: Madwell Kent cardigan || Zara top || Gucci Marmont belt || Levi's 505c jeans || Zara bag || Loeffler Randall shoes (in black; sneaker version)

Here in Wisconsin we'd love even just one warm day; it's been frigid cold and filled with blizzards. Will it ever end? Anyway, thanks for co-hosting. This is such a cute look. Love the cozy cardigan. That bag is fabulous! And I love those fun shoes.

I love that bag Cheryl! I've been considering a round bag this year. It seems all the ones I've seen lately are too small, this one looks like a great size!
