Holiday 2018 gift guide: gifts under $25

And now we've come to the point in the holiday shopping season that you realize you need to buy a bunch of grab bag, white elephant, and secret Santa gifts for various people. So without further ado, here are my favorite random gifts, all under $25.
1. It's not surprising that Forever 21 has a unicorn headband; what's surprising is how many options they have. This gift is a little goofy, but it's a great one in that it's something you'd never buy for yourself (which, in my opinion, is the best kind!).

2. Ban.do is one of my favorite brands for quirky, fun gifts. This is something that everyone can use, but it's updated in goofy way—and it's so unique, hopefully the recipient's husband/roommate/coworker won't steal it.

3. Yes, this is technically a game for kids, however my friends and I spend hours playing it. It's hard to explain, but you basically get your teammates to guess words by using (very few) words, often drawing parallels between loosely related things. Now, if only someone came up with a Cards Against Humanity–like version...
Codenames $14.98

4. I have no idea what's actually inside this book—e.g. whether or not it's actually useful—but I love both the straightforward title and clean design of the cover. Great for your coworker who, say, wants to monetize their dog.
Read This if You Want to Be Instagram Famous $10.56

5. I have one of these and use it religiously. Not only does it help your moisturizer penetrate your skin, it increases circulation and actually relieves sinus pressure. Plus, the jade is nice and cooling, which helps with puffiness.
Gracious Om jade roller $24

6. A total "I have no idea what to get you" gift, but who wouldn't love an ornate cow ornament? There are also fox, cat, and various other animals, if cows aren't your thing, or if you're worried about implying someone is a cow.
Cow ornament $17

7. I don't know about you, but I often motivate myself to work out by thinking about what I'm going to eat afterward. I thought this mat was hilarious, because of the juxtaposition between health and indulgence, plus the millennial pink-and-black color scheme is cute.
Ban.do yoga mat $23.99

8. The perfect gift for someone who loves to travel, this adapter has four separate plugs that fit together in a tidy cube, and between them, work in 150 different countries. I always take this with me when I travel abroad, although, warning, it's an adaptor, not a converter.
Flight 001 universal adapter $25

9. Another "I have no idea what to get you" gift, but one that will surely be appreciated, this replaces the (annoying) need to take like six different chargers with you wherever you go. Especially useful when traveling and your hotel room has one outlet that's hidden behind the nightstand.
Rainbow USB cable $7.99
