Mother's Day gift guide

Here we are in May already and Mother's Day is just a few weeks away. With stay at home orders still active in much of the world, most of us won't be celebrating in quite the same way. I usually go home to Chicago to visit my mom, but even if you live closer to yours, it's a big bummer to not be able to celebrate in person. The silver lining is that since we're all in the same quarantined boat, it kind of makes shopping for Mother's Day gifts a bit easier. So here are my favorite gifts for Mom, with a stay-at-home (and supporting local businesses!) theme. Send one (or all) to her and make Mom's day.

1. Not to brag, but my mom has been into puzzles since way before it was trendy. She'll do no less than 1,000 pieces, and she usually finishes them in a night (she's that good). I hope this Frida Kahlo puzzle is at least a bit of a challenge!
Frida Kahlo La Vida puzzle $24

2. While it's important to get outdoors, I believe it's necessary to have a little greenery indoors too. This pothos plant is incredibly easy to grow and cleans the air too, which is never a bad thing when you're spending so much time inside.
Léon & George pothos plant $139

3. Probably every influencer you know has featured Entireworld's matching sweats on their feed, and for good reason—they're incredibly soft and casually chic in a retro way.
Entireworld loop back hoodie and sweatpants both $88

4. As mom always says, take good care of your skin. This oil is reportedly the source of Laura Dern's glow, and if that's not enough to convince you, it also outperformed La Mer in clinical trials.
True Botanicals Renew Pure Radiance Oil $110

5. If your mom is like the rest of us, she's probably spending most of the day snuggled on the couch with her computer on her lap (or, if she's lucky, reading a book). This lightweight blanket will ensure she's extra comfy and cozy.
Coyuchi Pismo organic blanket $98

6. I think I can speak for all of us when I say our slippers are getting the most wear of any of our shoes right now, so why not treat mom to a super-luxurious pair?
Jenni Kayne shearling slippers $275

Wow! Your mom must be really good at puzzles. We did a 2,000 piece puzzle and it took us a month! Ha! I love those cozy PJ's, I need to check those out now.
