Top 10 things to buy on Amazon Prime Day (and 10 more things I bought)

So, I was planning on not covering Prime Day at all—sifting through over a million deals is a lot of work in a very short period of time—but then I saw how good the prices were on some of my all-time favorite items, so I thought what the heck? I realize I am a little late to the game, but you've got another full day of shopping ahead of you. Here are 10 products on sale for Prime Day that I own and highly recommend, 10 that I bought today, and there are even more in my Prime Day shop

Top 10 things to buy on Amazon Prime day

Bose noise-canceling headphones $229 (30% off)

These headphones are lightweight enough to sleep in, the sound quality is excellent, and they really do block out an amazing amount of background noise. I have worn them everywhere from an airplane to a very loud Airbnb, and they are worth every last cent, even when they're not on sale.

R+Co haircare 30% off

I am a huge fan of everything I've tried from this haircare line—it's what I actually use 90% of the time, and it's what my salon prefers too. Everything smells great and does what it says, without making my hair greasy. The discount also applies to their premium Bleu line.

Amazon Aware up to 23% off

Amazon rarely discounts its private-label brands—except on Prime Day (it's also a great time to buy anything from The Drop). Amazon Aware is its most eco-conscious line, and I am a big fan, especially of the sherpa jacket and ruched dress that I'm wearing here.

Vitamix 5200 $299.95 (26% off)

The even higher-end Vitamix 750 is also a part of this sale, but this should be more than enough blender for you. We use it to make smoothies, soups, frozen drinks, sauces, you name it. It's easy to clean and, more importantly, has a ridiculous amount of power.

Santal oil $15.19 (51% off)

This isn't my go-to Santal 33 dupe (that would be this one), but with nearly 5,000 positive ratings, I'd say this one is just as good. Put it in your diffuser and breathe in bougie-ness (here's my full breakdown of how I use this oil to make my home smell ah-may-zing).

Greenpan set $90.99 (30% off)

Sorry for the gross photo (it's Impossible Burger), but these are the best pans ever. They are nonstick, coated with ceramic instead of toxic chemicals, and even after several years, I am amazed at how easy they are to clean. I will not cook my food on anything else!

COSRX up to 50% off

This is my favorite K-beauty line because it delivers major results. Nearly every product they offer has a cult following, and at these prices, you can afford to try nearly everything you want. I am a huge fan of the Snail Mucin products, btw.

Liquid IV $17.24 (31% off)

If I drink more than a glass of wine, I have a packet of this before I go to bed, and while it doesn't 100% eliminate hangovers (I don't want to oversell it!), I definitely feel much, much better in the morning. Seriously a miracle product.

Sojos sunglasses up to 49% off

I am clumsy, and because I almost always drop them, sit on them, accidentally step on them, etc., I almost never buy designer sunglasses. I do, however, love a good dupe, and currently my favorite source is Amazon, specifically the Sojos brand (I'm wearing this pair in the photo).

Wool dryer balls $15.16 (49% off)

I saved the sexiest product for last (kidding!). These are a godsend if you have a pet who sheds, and they're way better for the environment (and your wallet) than disposable dryer sheets. If you prefer a little scent in your laundry, sprinkle with a few drops of Santal oil!

What I bought

Amazon Fire 7 Tablet $32.98 (53% off)

My iPad now holds a charge for less than a day, so I'm going to the Dark Side and trying this tablet, which is about a tenth of the price.

dpHUE apple cider vinegar rinse $24.50 (30% off)

My scalp has been itchy AF lately, so I'm hoping this helps.

Bioderma Sensibio micellar water $11.24 (34% off)

The GOAT of makeup removers.

Haus Laboratories liquid eyeliner $6 (70% off)

We now carry Lady Gaga's line at Sephora, so I figured this was worth a try, especially with almost 14k positive reviews.

Magic pants hangers $19.19 (20% off)

I am usually not a huge fan of these, but I'm trying to save space in my closet and have found pants to be a big offender.

Sojos retro sunglasses $11.99 (20% off)

A more fashion-y pair from my go-to sunglasses dupe brand.

COSRX snail peptide eye cream $19.20 (26% off)

I like the essence and the cream so much, I decided to try the eye cream.

oaskys mattress pad

This was a lightning deal that I jumped on and is no longer valid (sorry!); our current mattress pad is disintegrating and is beyond nasty.

Wellike beaded necklace $9.59 (20% off)

I've been seeing a lot of these '90s beaded necklaces on the 'gram; I figured this was a harmless way to try a trend that I might be too old to pull off.

Eleloveph pleated tennis skirt $25.59 (34% off)

I don't actually play tennis, but I like to look like I do ;)

Don't forget to check out my Prime Day shop for even more amazing finds!
