It's become de rigeur in certain circles to hate on Sex and the City, but I saw the movie last weekend, and, let me tell you, I loved every last minute of it. It was like seeing your old friends again. And I was particularly delighted by the clothes, specifically the studded black belt that Sarah Jessica Parker wears in several scenes. I vowed to track it down and buy it no matter what the cost, but I quickly discovered, sadly, that the belt was vintage. Thankfully, however, we live in a fast-fashion culture, and thus it was only a matter of time until someone knocked it off. And, lo and behold, today I got an email from Intuition, which is now selling this lovely studded Streets Ahead belt. Not bad, eh? Yes, $250 is a bit steep for a belt, but Carrie wears it over everything from a pink sheath dress to a '50s-style floral frock, so just think how many outfits with which you could wear it.
