Get the look: white eyelet dress

It's high summer—and still Dress Month here at Cheryl Shops—so what better thing to wear than a little white dress? This highly-pinned look from my Outfit Ideas for Ageless Style Pinterest board revolves around a white eyelet dress that looks so fresh and cool to me, I can see why it's been so popular. So without further ado, let's put it together.

The kind of surprising this about the popularity of this look is that the dress the woman is wearing (and I think that woman might be Damsel in Dior) has long sleeves. Then again, if you work in an office, you're probably the victim of air-conditioning overload all summer long, so in that case, long sleeves are pretty smart. Plus, when you go outside, the eyelet keeps you cool, because it's like built-in air-conditioning! Anyway, this Milla eyelet dress is a very similar shape to what she's wearing, and at $60, it's pretty much a steal.

The only color in this outfit comes courtesy of the clutch she's holding, which, if I were a betting woman, would guess is by Olympia Le Tan. I'm guessing you don't have $1200 to blow on a clutch, however, so here's a cute one by Danielle Danielle Nicole instead. (If you do want the real thing, here's a  Olympia Le Tan at 60% off.)

I once had a pair of shoes like these that were really sexy but incredibly uncomfortable, so off to Goodwill they went. I can't vouch for these Sam Edelman Patti sandals, but at least the heel is a somewhat more reasonable three inches.

If the woman in the photo is indeed Jacey Duprie, I know she's a big fan of Quay Australia, so these If Only sunglasses might be what she's wearing. I'm big fan of the brand too—they're lightweight, well made, and reasonably priced.
