Get the look: white blouse and kick-flare jeans

After a month of so many dresses, it's kind of funny that this week's most-pinned look on my Outfit ideas for ageless style Pinterest board involves jeans, because it's been so cold in San Francisco lately, that's all that I've been wearing! I can see why this one is popular, though: it's a summery spin on one of the most classic outfits out there, a white shirt and jeans. Since the original image came from Instagram, I was able to find most of the exact items this woman was wearing, but since most of them are almost sold out, I decided to recreate the look for even less!

Everybody loves a classic white button-down shirt, but the one in the photo is a little softer and more feminine, thanks to its V-neckline and puffy sleeves. She's actually wearing this sold-out H&M blouse, but the River Island blouse included in the photo above is a very close approximation.

Kick-flare jeans are kind of retro and cute, and the length is perfect for summer. Hers are from And Other Stories and are on major sale at the moment, however they're only available in two sizes on their website, so I've include this pair from Topshop instead. I'm a big fan of Topshop's MOTO line of denim, so I feel like you can't go wrong with these.

I feel like I've featured so many straw bags here this summer, but one shape I haven't shown is a market tote. Straw bags can be surprisingly expensive, but J.Crew's version is a mere $59.50, even with leather straps (and since this is J.Crew, you can probably get it for an extra 30% off too).

While I'm not a big flats person, I've been surprised at how a pointy-toe flat can actually have an elongating effect. So while a blush- or nude-colored flat seems kind of random with cropped jeans, I think it works here—and here's a comfy-looking pair from Linea Paolo

Finally, perfectly round sunglasses were an acquired taste for me, but now that I'm used to them, I think they're pretty flattering—and fun. These Steve Madden sunglasses are a great way to try the trend without breaking the bank.

Love this look, Cheryl. I have bought some jeans like this but not wore them yet as I thought I would need heels. They look great with flats, must try mine again.

Thanks for sharing at Welcome To The Weekend Blog Hop. Have a lovely weekend.
