Get the look: tweed jacket and skinny jeans

Blazer. White tee. Jeans. Boots. There's just something about the classics, which explains why this pin of Leandra Medine was this month's most-pinned look from my Outfit ideas for ageless style Pinterest board. Granted, her blazer is vintage Chanel and the rest of her outfit is probably pretty fancy too, but thankfully it can be re-created for a song. Here's how to get her look.

There's nothing like a real Chanel tweed jacket, but unless you have $2k lying around, the good news is that there are a lot of knockoffs at much more affordable prices—in this case from WDNY, $70-ish.

One of the coolest pieces in this outfit is the tee, which has a mock neck, making it much more interesting than a regular white tee, yet not as dorky as a white turtleneck.

I got rid of my skinny jeans because they all had low rises (and how did I think that was flattering?!), but a high-rise pair makes the silhouette intriguing again.

The gold boots also really make this look and keep it from being too staid. I'm guessing hers are Isabel Marant or Golden Goose, but this Vince Camuto pair will do in a pinch.

This is such a fun outfit to recreate, it's a beautiful blazer she is wearing and you picked a great looking one at a more affordable price point! I should really focus on adding more blazers like this to my wardrobe, I love a blazer and jeans combo!

Hope you're having a lovely weekend :)

Okay, so Leandra’s vintage Chanel jacket is amazing! But I do love the recreation on a budget pieces that you have chosen as well. And I totally laughed out loud at the dorky white turtleneck comment. Why ARE white turtlenecks so dorky?! They really are! Great post, my friend. Thanks for linking up!
