Get the look: leather midi skirt and belt bag

I don't know about you, but I am really tired of winter. Like, really. I am already plotting what I'm going to wear when the sun is out again, the temperatures are back in the 60s, and all is back to normal. I have a feeling you're on the same page, because this month's most-pinned look from my Outfit ideas for ageless style Pinterest board is a very spring-transitional one. Which is all very responsible and rational of you. So let's re-create it and hopefully spring will get the memo.

This look feels a little #oldceline to me, and I'm not mad at it. To me, it's all about that buttery-looking leather midi skirt, which, to be honest, was a little hard to find. This BOSS leather wrap skirt is not exactly a bargain, but it has a similar minimalist vibe, albeit a slightly shorter length and darker shade. I also like the Alouetta skirt from Equipment.

The top is interesting, because I think it's actually a blazer that's tucked in (strangely, this isn't the first time I've seen this, and it appears to be a next-level French styling trick). If you're going to attempt this, I'd recommend going with a knit double-breasted blazer, and since we've splurged on the leather skirt, this double-breasted Halogen blazer is a bit more reasonable.

And now onto the part that truly stumped me: the belt bag. Is it leather and knit, or is it leather with some sort of belt bag cozy over it? Either way, I have no idea who made this, but I'm pretty proud of myself for finding this crocheted belt bag from Sensei Studio. I think the leopard-ish pattern is actually really cute!

The white pumps are a rather unexpected element, and the high-vamp style is very au courant. The woman in the photo is probably wearing a pretty pricey pair, but these Iris & Ink pumps get the job done for a relatively sane price.

You have to zoom in quite a bit to see her jewelry, but the woman in the photo is wearing a pretty awesome coin necklace. If you haven't been watching Russian Doll on Netflix, first of all you should, but secondly, Nadia, the main character, wears one, and it plays an important part in the story. Also, it's super cool, and this Sashi pendant does the trick (and happens to be on sale). Birthday baby!

That belt bag is the coolest thing ever! It's really unique. I was looking at bags all over the internet for my spring bag trends post and did not see anything quite like that. It's so pretty too.

I have a pair of white boots, but I would love a pair of white pumps too!! I want a belted bag eventually, just haven't found one I like yet.

I see these belt bags are quite popular in the UK too. I noticed some the other day when we went shopping :)
