Get the look: white shirt and wide-leg khaki pants

It's been a minute since I've done a "get the look" post, but my Pinterest followers have been busy pinning this neutral look from my Outfit ideas for ageless style board. And coincidentally, it's another one focused on wide-leg pants—are we on the verge of a major silhouette shift, or is there just something effortless about a wide-leg cropped pant? I can't answer that, but I can re-create this look while it's still warm enough to wear it.

Chances are you probably own a white button-down shirt, but if not, I recommend any of Everlane's offerings, particularly their relaxed linen shirt—a style so iconic, it's featured in their email signup popup. For $58, you can afford one in several colors.

The key piece in this outfit, however, is the wide-leg cropped khaki pant, and I think Everlane's version is a dead ringer for what this woman is wearing.

I will admit, this woman's bag stumped me. The closest budget-friendly version I could find was the woven leather Rachel bag from Fossil, although if you feel like a splurge, Burberry's Foster tote is slightly closer to the real thing.

You can easily find an inexpensive version of this sandal, but Joie's Balieri sandals are all leather and thus built to last (they're also on sale, thankfully).

I love classic looks but never wear White shirts myself! But this is a good and elegant look!

This is such a great look! Simple and classic. I have a hard time with the wide legged cropped pants on my frame. But I will keep trying!
