In taking walks around my neighborhood, I've noticed two very exciting developments:
1) There's a West Elm store under construction on 18th Street between 6th & 7th Avenues, and the sign says it's opening this fall. Much closer than DUMBO--yay!
2) While making a late-night Magnolia Bakery run, I noticed there's an Intermix coming to Bleecker Street, a.k.a. "the new Soho," at Charles Street. Hey, I'm not complaining.
